Ruth Maria Murphy is an Irish photographer and art director from the city of Dublin. In three words she would describe herself as a ‘curious, creative explorer.’
Ruth Maria has traveled quite a bit throughout her life and honed her eye and photography skills on travel assignments around the world including Vietnam, Iceland and parts of Africa. After emigrating for 8 years she returned to Ireland where she now has a strong interiors and architecture photography business working closely with magazines and Ireland’s top interior designers and architects.
As a design graduate of the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin Ruth Maria photographs her work with a designers eye and has great appreciation for both art and design. Through her photographic work she aims to showcase good design and the work of other creatives.
Ruth Maria is published regularly in notable magazines and newspapers in Ireland and around the world such as Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Wallpaper, Elle Decoration, The Times, The observer, The Guardian and online at Dezeen and Yellowtrace to name a few.
